Northern Rural Partnership is an independant and private company set up to assist the voluntary training co-operative of the employer led Association of Rural Training Groups. As such we are not dependant on the government funds or the whims of political thinking on education and training. We do however, work with a number of agencies and organisations and draw down funding from a number of sources to support our clients. We are able to offer a broad spectrum of courses and an effective result is achieved by our flexible approach to training venues and a combination of delivery methods, which are unlikely to be |
found through traditional routes.
The Association is a formal grouping of a number of employer led rural training groups originally set up in the early 1980’s through the Agricultural Training Board (ATB).
The Agricultural Training Groups (ARTG) were established to provide a training service to farmers within the area and are run by an elected management committee of local farmers... Other Rural and Landbased industries are now represented within ARTG e.g. Agricultural Contractors,

Caravan Site Owners & large estates.
The rural women’s group operates in a similar way and was built up following a number of structured programmes of training events run for twelve farm women in 1993. In addition to the training, we provide a full range of business I.T. services, tailored to the needs of clients and communities. A free half day consultation is available to new or prospective clients, at either centre or on site as required. |
